Beautiful rooms at the Tower and we had one facing the Gateway of India on the 19th Floor. The kids loved the space and little surprises for them in the room. We celebrated my dad's birthday and they had a red carpet laid for him with flowers, balloons and cake and also took a picture which they presented to them later in the day. The staff are so caring and Shamiyana has he best spread of Breakfast and they are all so flexible

Went there for one in a lifetime experience and we returned back wishing we extended our stay at Taj... the hospitality and effort put in by the staff is truly remarkable. They do pay particular attention to details and their smile and greetings lift one's mood each time. We were upgraded to a beautiful sea view room by Mr Mayank. Sagar Sir, the yoga teacher, a calm composed and peaceful human being who guided us and started off our mornings brillantly. Mr Parmeshwar near the pool, gentleman, very helpful, charismatic who willingly helped us with beautiful souvenirs. Unfortunately we didn't note the name of the Sikh paji who was at the entrance always cheerfully welcoming us with our loads of shopping bags. The only downside seems to be the crowded Shamiana restaurant for breakfast. The staff daily have to fight to fit in everyone in this tiny space. The staff though under particular stress everyday do try to keep their smile and charm at every moment. But the hotel would be fairer by giving a larger space for breakfast sitting. We also visited the Palace, though beautiful architecture, we did not feel welcome there. But we take along beautiful memories at the Taj Mahal Tower. Thank you to each and everyone of the staff members who took special care of us. Even the Sir near the lift, an uplifting smile and greeting always.

The Check In and Check Out is really a cumbersome and lengthy process the front desk team took almost 50-60 minutes to handover the keys similarly my two colleagues extended the stay but it was really a tough task. Finally your duty manger helped, but it was not that friendly what me and my international friends have expected.

Its simply one of the great hotels of the world...Exceptional service, reasonable prices, beautiful pool area. Most friendly staff you will come by. My only gripe and this is the same for all hotels. I had to use the landline from the room as my wifi call connection on my phone didnt work very well. To have to spend 10,000 INR on a 40 minute call is too much. The hotel is making too much money on this.
